Italy to screen Iran’s ‘Taste of Berry’

Iran’s short ‘Taste of Berry’ has been set to participate at the 2019 edition of the Pop Corn Festival del Corto in Italy.

The 3rd edition of the Italian event will screen ‘Taste of Berry’, written and directed by Ahmad Seyyed-Keshmiri, next month.

The film is an adaptation of the late Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami's ‘Taste of Cherry’.

It narrates the story of a young man who intends to commit suicide. By chance, he climbs a berry tree and tastes the fruit.

The Pop Corn Festival del Corto is a short film competition open to all national and international video makers.

The 3rd edition of the event will take place in Italy on July 25-28, 2019. The theme this year is "Life: worth of a choice".
